Harmony After Dark celebrates the 10-year anniversary of the legendary Techno-Tribal Dance and its bedazzling celebrations of music, underground dance culture, art and performance!

This year, two captivating evenings transport audiences to the new edge of sound and light at the intersection of technology and talent.

It’s an unforgettable, full spectrum immersion beginning on Friday, June 12th with headliner Balkan Beat Box and its sounds from the Gypsy Diaspora. Supporting acts include Somalia-born hip hop artist K’naan whose stylings merge conscious American hip hop with brilliant protest poetry, the bass-driven tribal grooves of Medicine Drum (with guest Wisdom) and the downtempo, dripping-with-soul electronica of DJ/Producer Random Rab. The night will be heightened by two special performances by world-class juggling acrobats NANDA.

Saturday, June 13th showcases the multi-genre trance inductions of DJ/Producer Shpongle and a very special guest beatbox emcee performance by Matisyahu. Other acts include Alex Paterson of the U.K. chillout pioneers The Orb, and the dub-reggae driven house and breaks of U.K. producer/performer/DJ Gaudi. Opening the evening is Bay Area hip hop & freestyling artist Abai plus the soulful, liquid grooves of British Columbia’s Wassabi Collective. An on-the-edge-of your-seat visual feast includes dazzling fire performances by Luminesque and Liquid Fire Mantra and innovative aerialists Mutaytor Aerialists and FlyByNight Aerial plus world-class juggling & acrobats NANDA. Counterpoint to mainstage is the plushed-out chill temple, a sensory saturation of live performance painting by Andrew Jones's Pha-Droid and mesmerizing visual projections.
